Who is Keener Hachey?

Keener Hachey has lived in Calgary since 1991, and in Midnapore since 2001. Keener is married and has two children.

Keener Hachey has a solid education from the University of New Brunswick and the Southern Alberta Institute of Technology (SAIT).

Keener Hachey has a wide array of professional experiences from being a Group Leader, a Senior Systems Analyst, a Programmer Analyst, and a Software Developer with a number of local distinguished Calgary companies

Keener Hachey is an active member in his church, and is a member of PGIB (Calgary’s largest small business and taxpayer organization). Keener Hachey serves on the Board of Directors for the United Conservative Party (UCP) in Calgary Fish Creek helping MLA Myles McDougall. Keener Hachey helped campaign for both UCP MLA Myles McDougall (Calgary Fish Creek), and UCP MLA Eric Bouchard (Calgary Loughheed), and is a strong supporter of Calgary Midnapore Conservative Member of Parliament Stephanie Kusie, whose riding represents most communities in Ward 14.

We need Councillors who have signed the front of a cheque and not just the back of one. We need Councillors who understand that budgets do not balance themselves. Keener Hachey will be very instrumental in attracting business to Calgary which means jobs for you, your children, and grandchildren.

The best way to look at this is, we as taxpayers are the shareholders and we are electing Keener Hachey to be our Board Member for the Corporation of the City of Calgary. We need to elect Councillors with both life and business experience. We need to elect Councillors that understand the municipal level of government and its very limited focus and jurisdiction.
